Our Solution:
We thought this might be a draw cable problem at first, but we didn’t find any breaks or tangles in it. Next, we opened up the operator, and here we found a motor jam caused by a warped gear. We removed the offending part, replaced it, and gave the whole motor a good cleaning and oiling. That restored the gate’s functioning.
